James Bond 007 is a video game series that has been around since the early 1990s.

It was originally released for the Nintendo Game Boy, but it now also exists on other platforms such as PC, PlayStation, Xbox and even mobile devices.

The series has seen numerous iterations over the years, including classic 2D side-scrollers, 3D third-person shooters and more recently action-adventure titles.

Despite its age, James Bond 007 remains one of the most popular gaming franchises in history and continues to be enjoyed by millions of gamers worldwide.

The story behind James Bond 007 revolves around British Secret Service Agent James Bond (007) who is sent on various missions across the world to thwart evil villains from achieving their nefarious goals.

Players must use both their wits and brawn to fight enemies, complete objectives and ultimately save the world from disaster.

Alongside his famous gadgets such as an Aston Martin DB5 and a laser watch, players can also use weapons like handguns, machine guns and explosives to take out bad guys.

There are even some levels where you have to rely on your stealth skills rather than guns blazing violence in order to complete certain objectives.

The original Game Boy version of James Bond 007 was released in 1992 by Nintendo in Europe and North America.

It was developed by programmer David Warhol who worked with composer Grant Kirkhope to create an immersive soundtrack for the game.

The title saw great success upon its release with many reviewers praising its visuals and audio quality as well as its varied gameplay mechanics such as driving sequences, shooting galleries and puzzle elements.

This version of James Bond 007 featured eight levels that took players across different locations such as Venice, Egypt and Russia while completing various missions along the way.

Unfortunately due to hardware limitations at the time, this version of James Bond 007 did not feature any voice acting or cutscenes which would become staples of later games in this series.

Since then there have been numerous sequels for various platforms including 1993’s The Duel (Game Boy), 1999’s The World Is Not Enough (PlayStation), 2002’s Nightfire (GameCube/Xbox) , 2006’s From Russia With Love (PlayStation 2/Xbox) , 2008’s Quantum Of Solace (Wii/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360) , 2012’s Skyfall (PlayStation 3/Xbox 360) , 2015's Spectre (PlayStation 4/Xbox One).

Each iteration has built upon what made previous versions of James Bond 007 so great while adding new features such as improved graphics, better enemy AI or larger levels with multiple objectives for players to explore.

In 2020 a brand new version of James Bond 007 will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch called No Time To Die which will tie into the upcoming movie sequel starring Daniel Craig as Agent 007 himself.

This will be an open-world action adventure title featuring an original story set after Spectre where players will take control of James Bond once again in order to save London from a mysterious threat known only as ‘The Undying Man'.

This latest installment promises to bring back all classic elements from previous entries while introducing new ones like destructible environments, more dynamic combat options and full voice acting throughout all cutscenes alongside improved visuals running at 60 frames per second on Nintendo Switch hardware for an even more immersive experience than ever before! No matter whether you prefer classic 2D side-scrollers or modern 3D action adventures there is something for everyone within the long running franchise that is James Bond 007! With its exciting storylines, iconic characters & settings plus gripping gameplay mechanics it provides fans with hours upon hours of entertainment each time they boot up their system – no matter if it’s a Game Boy or a Nintendo Switch!
