The Powerpuff Girls: Bad Mojo Jojo is a side-scrolling action-adventure game released for the Nintendo Game Boy Color in 2000. Developed by Japanese studio Tose and published by BANDAI, the game follows the adventures of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup as they battle against the evil monkey villain Mojo Jojo. The game features three distinct levels that take place in Townsville, Monster Island, and an underwater level. It also includes several boss battles with villains from the Powerpuff Girls TV series.

The game begins when Mojo Jojo escapes from prison and sets out to wreak havoc on Townsville. To stop him, the Powerpuff Girls must travel to Monster Island to find the source of his power. Once there, they discover that he has created an army of monsters to do his bidding. The girls must then battle their way through each level in order to defeat Mojo Jojo and restore peace to Townsville.

Gameplay revolves around using each of the Powerpuff Girl’s special abilities to navigate their way through each level. Blossom can fly for short periods of time while Bubbles can use her bubble breath attack to stun enemies and Buttercup has a powerful punch that can break through obstacles. In addition to these abilities, each girl also has a unique weapon that she can use against enemies throughout the game such as Blossom’s yo-yo or Buttercup’s baseball bat.

In addition to regular enemies such as monkeys and robots, the girls will also have to face off against iconic villains from the TV show including Fuzzy Lumpkins, HIM, Princess Morbucks, Sedusa, and more. Each boss battle requires strategic thinking in order for players to be successful; however some bosses are easier than others depending on which character you are playing as at any given time.
