Summon Night is an action role-playing game developed and published by Banpresto for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The game was released in Japan on June 28, 2002 and was later released in North America on May 15, 2004.

Set in a fantasy world known as Lyndbaum, Summon Night revolves around the concept of summoning creatures known as “Spirits” to assist in battles. Players take control of a young protagonist who discovers their ability to summon various Spirits from different elemental planes. As the player progresses through the game they will be able to collect more powerful Spirits and use them in battle against monsters and other enemies.

The game features a turn-based combat system where players can choose to attack with their summoned Spirits or with physical attacks such as swords and bows. Each Spirit has its own unique abilities which can be used to inflict damage or restore health, among other things. In addition to fighting enemies, players must also gather resources such as ore and herbs which can be used to craft new weapons and items.

Summon Night also features a variety of side quests which offer rewards such as money, experience points, and items which can help progress the story or make battles easier. There are also mini games which involve fishing, cooking, and mining that add some extra variety to the gameplay.

The visuals of Summon Night are quite charming with colorful characters designs combined with vibrant backgrounds that bring the world to life. The soundtrack is also quite good featuring a mix of upbeat themes during battles along with slower melodies while exploring towns or dungeons.

Overall Summon Night is an enjoyable experience that offers plenty of content for fans of RPGs looking for something different on the Game Boy Advance platform. It has an interesting story line combined with solid gameplay mechanics that make it worth checking out if you’re after something new for your GBA library.
