Vectorman is a side-scrolling platform game developed by BlueSky Software and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1995. The game follows the adventures of an android, Vectorman, as he traverses a post-apocalyptic Earth in search of his creator, Dr. Crayzon. Along the way, Vectorman must battle a variety of robotic enemies and bosses while collecting power-ups to increase his strength and abilities.

The game's graphics are rendered entirely with 3D vector graphics technology, giving it a distinct look compared to other games on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive system. The levels are designed to be non-linear, allowing players to explore different paths in order to progress through the game. The levels also feature various environmental hazards such as water and fire which can damage Vectorman if he touches them.

Vectorman has eight levels divided into several stages each; with each stage featuring different obstacles and enemies that must be overcome before progressing further. At the end of each level, there is a boss which must be defeated before advancing to the next stage. Throughout his journey, Vectorman can collect power-ups such as extra lives or weapons that will help him battle against tougher enemies.

The soundtrack for Vectorman was composed by Tommy Tallarico and features an upbeat techno score that fits perfectly with the fast-paced action and vibrant visuals found throughout the game. The sound effects used in the game were also praised for their quality and realism; adding to its overall appeal.

Vectorman was critically acclaimed upon its release; garnering praise for its innovative use of 3D vector graphics technology and its intense action sequences as well as its engaging soundtrack and sound effects. It went on to become one of the most popular games released on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive system; selling over two million copies worldwide and becoming one of the best-selling games ever released on this console.
