Show do Milhão Volume 2 is a Brazilian game released in 1996 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis console. Developed by Tectoy and PUC-Rio, Show do Milhão was the first video game franchise created by a Brazilian software studio — setting a precedent for national creativity within game development. The second release of the original Show do Milhão focused on expanding upon the existing format of its predecessors, with new levels and improved visuals, art direction and sound design.
The main aim of the venue is to help players improve their financial knowledge. Players participate in a show that has two hosts, Margarida (Ana Paula Araújo) and Moacir Jr. (played by himself). During each round they get asked questions related to economics with three possible answers (A, B, or C). All levels range from beginner to expert level.
The second game sticks to the same rules but features some important changes: visuals are much more polished than before, there are now different customisable avatars which players can unlock throughout the course of their experience as opposed to using predetermined characters from series one; also music got better soundtrack accompanied by high quality digital audio effects as well instrumental themes throughout.
