Star Trek TNG - Advanced Holodeck Tutorial is a Sega Game Gear game released in 1995. It was developed by the Japanese company Park Place Productions and published by Sega. The game is based on the popular science fiction franchise Star Trek: The Next Generation, which originally aired from 1987-1994.

The game takes place on the Enterprise-D, the ship from the show, and features many of its characters including Captain Jean Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), Commander William Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Lieutenant Commander Data (Brent Spiner) and Counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis). Players take control of one of these characters as they explore the ship and attempt to complete various missions.

The main focus of the game is on learning how to use the advanced holodeck technology featured in Star Trek: The Next Generation. This involves completing various training sessions that teach players how to create their own programs, manipulate objects inside them, and even fight off enemies using weapons and tactics from within a holodeck environment. As players progress through each lesson they are rewarded with points which can be used to upgrade their characters abilities or purchase new items from an in-game store.

The graphics for this game were considered quite good for its time due to its colorful visuals and detailed animations. The sound effects and music also added a great deal of atmosphere to this game. Although it did not feature any voice acting, there were still some nice touches such as having dialogue boxes appear when certain characters were talking, adding some more immersion into the world of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Star Trek TNG - Advanced Holodeck Tutorial was well received by fans of both Star Trek: The Next Generation and Sega Game Gear games in general due to its unique approach to teaching players about advanced holodeck technology while allowing them to have fun at the same time. This made it stand out among other titles available on the platform at that time.
