Successfully completing these mini-games rewards the player with bonus points that can be used to purchase more power-ups at stores.

At the end of each day, there is a boss battle where the paperboy must defeat an enemy in order to progress further in the game. The bosses range from a giant robotic dog to a mad scientist riding a flying saucer and require different strategies in order to be defeated. After all five days are completed, there is an additional bonus level that requires even more skillful maneuvering in order to reach its conclusion.
