Paperboy 2 is a side-scrolling platform game released by Mindscape in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The player takes control of the paperboy, who delivers newspapers to houses along his route. The game consists of five days, each with four levels and an end-level boss. The goal of the game is to deliver newspapers without damaging property or getting injured.

The game starts off with the player selecting their paperroute from various options. Once selected, the paperboy must ride through the level on his bicycle while avoiding obstacles such as cars, dogs, and other hazards. As he passes by houses, he must throw newspapers into mailboxes or onto porches in order to complete deliveries. If successful, he will be rewarded with coins which can be used to purchase power-ups at stores located throughout the level. These power-ups include extra speed boosts and invincibility stars which allow the paperboy to temporarily become immune to damage.

At certain points during each level, the paperboy will come across mini-games such as “Paper Toss” where he must throw newspapers into moving targets and “Paper Chase” where he races against another rider on a dirt bike. Successfully completing these mini-games rewards the player with bonus points that can be used to purchase more power-ups at stores.

At the end of each day, there is a boss battle where the paperboy must defeat an enemy in order to progress further in the game. The bosses range from a giant robotic dog to a mad scientist riding a flying saucer and require different strategies in order to be defeated. After all five days are completed, there is an additional bonus level that requires even more skillful maneuvering in order to reach its conclusion.

Overall Paperboy 2 is an enjoyable experience that combines challenging gameplay with humorous visuals and sound effects that make it stand out among other games of its time period. Its simple yet addictive nature makes it suitable for players of all ages and provides hours of entertainment for those looking for an old school gaming fix!
