Skate or Die 2: The Search for Double Trouble is a skateboarding game developed by Electronic Arts (EA) and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1989. The game is a sequel to the original Skate or Die! and follows the same skateboarding theme. Players assume the role of either Rodney Recloose or Eddie Hazzard, two teenage skateboarders who must compete in various events to win a contest sponsored by the mysterious Mr. Big.

Players can choose from four different events: Downhill Jam, Vert Contest, Freestyle Competition and Street Course. The Downhill Jam requires players to race against time on a downhill course filled with obstacles such as ramps, jumps and mounds of dirt. Players must successfully navigate through each obstacle in order to reach the finish line before time runs out. The Vert Contest requires players to perform tricks on a half-pipe while trying to accumulate points before time runs out. The Freestyle Competition is similar to the Vert Contest but features more difficult stunts such as handstands, slides and grinds that require precise timing in order to execute correctly. Finally, the Street Course allows players to explore an open-ended cityscape while attempting tricks on rails, ledges and other urban structures along their way.

Each event has its own set of rules and objectives that must be completed in order to proceed further into the game. After completing each event, players are awarded points based on their performance which can then be used towards purchasing upgrades such as new boards and protective gear from Mr. Big’s shop in order to improve their skills for future events.

The ultimate goal of Skate or Die 2 is for players to win Mr. Big’s “Double Trouble” contest and become official members of his team called “The Radz” by mastering all four events within a certain amount of time limit given at the start of each stage. In addition, players will also have to face off against some formidable opponents such as “Crazy Legs” Larry Lipschitz who will attempt taunting them throughout their journey while attempting to sabotage their efforts at every turn possible.
