Yoshi’s Cookie is an iconic puzzle game for the Nintendo Game Boy. Developed by Bullet-Proof Software and published by Nintendo in 1992, Yoshi’s Cookie quickly became a classic. The game has a simple premise: you control Yoshi, the green dinosaur from the Super Mario series, as he tries to bake cookies. The goal of each level is to arrange rows of cookies so that they form complete rows or columns of the same type of cookie. Once you have arranged them correctly, they will disappear and you will move on to the next level.

Yoshi’s Cookie is a fast-paced puzzle game that requires quick thinking and strategy. Each level starts with a grid of different types of cookies (e.g., chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, etc.). You must move the rows and columns around until all of the same type are lined up either horizontally or vertically. When this happens, those cookies will disappear and points will be added to your score. As you progress through each level, there are more obstacles such as walls that block certain paths and bonus items such as clocks that give you extra time or “jokers” that can help clear out entire lines at once.

The challenge comes from trying to beat your high score while also trying to get through each level as quickly as possible. There are also hidden items throughout each level which can be collected for bonus points or special abilities such as invincibility or extra lives. The difficulty ramps up over time as well; in later levels there may be multiple types of cookies onscreen at once making it even more difficult to line up all of the same kind before time runs out.

Yoshi’s Cookie was released in 1992 for the original Game Boy system but was later re-released for other systems such as Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and Game Boy Color (GBC). It has been praised by critics for its unique gameplay mechanics and addicting challenge levels making it one of the most beloved puzzle games ever made for any console platform - even today!
