Star Trek – 25th Anniversary is a video game based on the popular television series of the same name. Developed by Westwood Associates and published by Ultra Games, it was released for the Nintendo Game Boy in 1992.

The game follows the ongoing adventures of James T. Kirk, Spock, Dr. McCoy, Ensign Chekov and Lieutenant Uhura as they explore strange new worlds aboard the Starship Enterprise. Players are able to control one of these five characters at a time during missions, while also having access to others when necessary. The goal is to complete various objectives within each mission while avoiding obstacles and enemies. Along with a variety of puzzles and challenges, players must also make use of their characters’ unique abilities in order to succeed.

The game features two different modes of play: an adventure mode where players progress through a linear story arc; and an arcade mode where they can replay specific missions from the adventure mode or try out new ones. In both modes, players are scored based on their performance in each mission and their overall score is displayed after completing all objectives. There are six distinct levels that can be played in either mode, each featuring its own unique environment and enemies as well as several bonus levels which can be unlocked for additional challenge.
