Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 for Nintendo Game Boy Advance is one of the most beloved skateboarding video games of all time. Released in 2002, it was the sequel to the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater released in 1999. The game was a huge success and was praised for its innovative gameplay, detailed graphics, and huge selection of tricks.
The game features a wide variety of levels that take place in several different areas such as a school, a mall, and an airport. Each area has its own unique set of objectives which can be completed by performing various tricks or collecting items such as spray cans or cash bonuses. As you progress through the game you will unlock new levels and gain access to more advanced tricks and combos.
The goal of each level is to complete specific objectives before the timer runs out. These objectives vary from collecting items to completing certain goals like scoring so many points within a time limit or performing a certain number of tricks within that same time limit. Completing these objectives will reward you with cash bonuses which can be used to purchase skaters, boards, clothing, etc.. You can also choose from several different modes including Career Mode where you must complete all the levels with one skater to unlock all other skaters; Trick Attack Mode where you must perform as many tricks as possible; Free Skate Mode where you are free to explore any level; and High Score Mode where you must compete against other players online for the highest score on each level.
The graphics in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 are surprisingly detailed considering its release date. The character models are well animated and have realistic movements while performing their tricks. The backgrounds are also very vivid and feature various objects such as cars, benches, buildings, etc.. All this combined creates an immersive experience that makes it easy to forget that you’re playing on Game Boy Advance hardware!
Overall Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is an excellent skateboarding game with plenty of content to keep players busy for hours on end. It offers great replay value due to its varied objectives and multiple modes while still maintaining an overall sense of fun throughout its challenging levels. Whether you’re a fan of skateboarding games or just looking for something fun to play on your Game Boy Advance then this is definitely worth checking out!
