Rockman EXE – Battlechip GP for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance is a tactical role-playing game developed by Capcom and released in 2003. It is the third installment of the Mega Man Battle Network series and is based on the popular Rockman EXE anime.

The main goal in Rockman EXE – Battlechip GP is to become an elite NetBattler, or an individual who uses computer technology to battle against viruses and other malicious programs. Players must explore the internet, build their own custom Navi (the protagonist of the series), collect chips, battle enemies, and compete in tournaments in order to achieve this goal.

The game features a variety of different modes which include single player story mode, wireless local multiplayer battles, online battles, and tournament mode. In story mode, players take control of Lan Hikari as he attempts to stop WWW (World Three) from taking over Cyberspace. In order to do this, players must explore various areas known as “Areas” which contain both friendly NPCs (Non Player Characters) as well as viruses. By defeating viruses, players can collect “BattleChips” which are used for battling against viruses or other enemies in the game.

Players also have access to a variety of customization options for their Navi such as changing its appearance, equipping it with chips that boost its stats and abilities, or even giving it special attacks called “Program Advances”. These Program Advances can be acquired by using specific combinations of chips during battle or by acquiring them through certain events in the story mode.

In addition to story mode and single player battles, Rockman EXE – Battlechip GP also features two types of multiplayer modes: Wireless Local Multiplayer Battles and Online Battles. In Wireless Local Multiplayer Battles up to four players can connect via infrared ports on their Game Boy Advance systems to battle each other either cooperatively or competitively. Online Battles allow players from all around the world to compete against each other using their customized Navis while competing for rankings on leaderboards. The game also includes a tournament mode where players can enter tournaments held periodically throughout Japan with prizes awarded depending on how well they perform in each tournament.

Overall Rockman EXE – Battlechip GP is an enjoyable experience for both veterans and newcomers alike due to its engaging storyline combined with its deep customization options for characters as well as its wide variety of modes available for playing both locally and online with friends from all around the world making it one of the best entries into the Mega Man Battle Network series yet!
