Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire is a pinball video game developed by Jupiter and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It was released in Japan on April 3, 2003, in North America on June 9, 2003, and in Europe on July 11, 2003. The game is based on the popular Pokemon franchise and features characters from the third generation of games: Ruby and Sapphire.

The objective of Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire is to catch as many Pokemon as possible by playing pinball. The player controls a pinball that they can launch onto the playfield with a flick of their stylus. The playfield consists of two main areas: Upper Field and Lower Field. The Upper Field contains five sections - Hoenn Safari Zone, Aqua Hideout, Fiery Path, Meteor Falls and Sky Pillar - each of which has its own unique set of bumpers and obstacles to navigate through. The Lower Field has three sections - Littleroot Town, Rustboro City and Mt. Pyre - which contain their own special features such as loops and ramps.

The player must shoot the ball into various targets located throughout each section to progress through the level and eventually encounter wild Pokemon that can be captured using Poke Balls or other items found throughout the levels. As players progress through the game they will be able to earn points by completing specific objectives such as hitting certain targets or catching specific types of Pokemon. Points earned are used to purchase items at the shop which can help them progress further in the game or even unlock new levels.

As well as collecting points, players can also collect coins while playing which can be used at various machines found throughout each level to win prizes such as rare items or extra balls for use during gameplay. Extra balls allow players to continue their current session without having to start over from scratch if all their balls are lost during play.

Players can also compete against one another via link cable connection or wireless connection using multiple Game Boy Advances with copies of the game inserted into them simultaneously. This feature allows up to four players to compete against one another at once in order to determine who is capable of capturing more Pokemon within a set time limit or who has earned more points overall during gameplay sessions combined across all four participants’ individual games.

Overall, Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire is an enjoyable pinball experience that provides hours of entertainment for both casual gamers looking for a fun way to pass some time or hardcore players trying for a high score run on their favourite table layout configurations. With its colorful visuals and catchy soundtrack it’s hard not to get drawn into this classic title that’s sure to keep you entertained for many hours at a time!
