Battle Chips are one of the main features of this game; they are special items that can be equipped by Megaman allowing him to use powerful attacks during battle.

The graphics in Megaman Battle Network 5 – Team Protoman are simple but effective; while not particularly stunning they do provide an enjoyable gaming experience nonetheless. The music is also quite good with some catchy tunes which fit well with the overall theme of the game.
