Medal of Honor – Infiltrator for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance is a third-person shooter video game released in 2003. It is the sixth installment in the Medal of Honor series and was developed by Amaze Entertainment. The game takes place during World War II and follows the story of Lt. Jimmy Patterson, a British spy working for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). The player’s mission is to infiltrate various Axis strongholds across Europe and North Africa in order to sabotage or destroy them.
The game itself consists of 14 missions, each with its own objectives. These objectives range from destroying enemy armaments to rescuing prisoners of war. As Lt. Patterson, players must use stealth tactics such as sneaking into enemies’ bases or using disguises to avoid detection. Players can also employ a variety of weapons ranging from pistols and machine guns to explosives and rocket launchers. Additionally, there are several gadgets at Lt. Patterson’s disposal which help him complete his objectives, such as binoculars for scouting out enemies and lock picks for gaining access to restricted areas.
In addition to its single-player campaign, Medal of Honor – Infiltrator also features a two-player link cable mode where players can compete against each other in deathmatch or team deathmatch games on six different maps. There is also an unlockable bonus mission where players can take control of an allied tank and engage in some intense tank battles with enemy forces.
The graphics in Medal of Honor – Infiltrator are quite good considering it was originally released more than 15 years ago on the Game Boy Advance console. The characters are well animated and their movements look realistic enough that you would think you were playing on a modern day console instead of an old handheld device. The environments are detailed enough that they do not appear blocky or pixelated even when viewed up close on the small screen size of the GBA system.
Overall, Medal of Honor – Infiltrator is an excellent third-person shooter game for the Game Boy Advance system that offers hours upon hours of thrilling gameplay as you take control of Lt. Jimmy Patterson in his quest to sabotage enemy forces during World War II. With its engaging missions and varied arsenal of weapons and gadgets at your disposal, this title will certainly keep you entertained whether you choose to play alone or with a friend via link cable connection mode
