Jurassic Park III – The DNA Factor for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance is an action-adventure game that was released in 2001. The game is based on the film of the same name and follows a similar storyline. Players take control of Dr. Alan Grant, who must rescue his girlfriend and her son from the island of Isla Sorna. Along the way, players will have to traverse through a number of levels, while avoiding or fighting off dinosaurs and other creatures.
The game begins with Dr. Grant arriving at Isla Sorna in search of his girlfriend and her son, who were taken by a group of mercenaries when they visited the island previously. Upon arriving, he discovers that the mercenaries are planning to use the island’s unique DNA to create powerful hybrid dinosaurs that could be used as weapons. In order to prevent this from occurring, Dr. Grant must locate all the pieces of dinosaur DNA scattered around Isla Sorna and reassemble them before it’s too late.
As players progress through Jurassic Park III – The DNA Factor, they will encounter various kinds of dinosaurs such as Velociraptors, Pteranodons, Dilophosaurs, Stegosaurs and Triceratopses. Players must use their wits and reflexes to avoid or fight these creatures in order to reach their goal at each level. As well as using items such as rocks or flares to distract or injure dinosaurs, players can also use tranquilizer darts or electric prods to subdue them temporarily so they can move on safely without being attacked again.
In addition to avoiding or fighting off dinosaurs, players will also need to solve puzzles in order to progress through certain areas of the game world. These puzzles range from simple tasks such as opening doors with keys or pushing boulders onto switches in order to open gates; up to more complex challenges such as using levers and switches in combination with each other in order to activate elevators or unlock doors leading further into Isla Sorna’s depths.
There are three different types of power-ups available throughout Jurassic Park III – The DNA Factor; health packs which restore lost energy during battle; ammo packs which increase ammunition for weapons; and dinosaur eggs which contain various bonuses such as extra lives or bonus points at the end of each level once collected successfully without being stopped by enemies along the way.
The graphics within Jurassic Park III – The DNA Factor are simple but still quite effective for its time period; featuring lush jungle environments full of trees and foliage alongside detailed dinosaur models which really bring life into this version of Isla Sorna on your Game Boy Advance system!
Overall Jurassic Park III – The DNA Factor is an enjoyable action-adventure title for Game Boy Advance owners looking for something different from typical platformers released during that era; combining exciting exploration elements with puzzle solving challenges alongside intense battles against some iconic prehistoric creatures!
