Columns Crown is a puzzle game developed by SEGA and released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2003. The game combines elements of classic puzzle games like Tetris and Columns with new features and challenges. Players must match up three or more jewels in order to clear them from the board. As they progress through the levels, they’ll be able to unlock new characters, power-ups, and special modes.
The goal of Columns Crown is to clear all the jewels on the board before time runs out. To do this, players must rotate and align three or more gems of the same color either horizontally or vertically. When connected, these gems will disappear from the board while points are awarded based on how many gems were cleared at once. Players can also use special items to help them complete levels faster such as bombs which can clear an entire row or column at once or lightning that clears all adjacent gems of a certain color.
Columns Crown offers multiple modes of play including Story Mode, Time Attack Mode, Challenge Mode, VS Mode, and Tutorial Mode. In Story Mode players must complete a series of levels in order to advance through the story while Time Attack mode tests players’ speed by giving them a set amount of time to clear as many jewels as possible. Challenge mode offers unique puzzles for players to solve while VS mode allows two players to compete against each other using link cables to connect their systems together. Finally, Tutorial mode provides helpful tips on how to play the game efficiently.
Overall Columns Crown is an enjoyable puzzle game that offers plenty of challenge and variation for experienced gamers as well as newcomers alike. With its colorful visuals and catchy music it has something for everyone looking for a good puzzle experience on their Game Boy Advance system!
